theres a difference people

  • Hillbilly: Usually found living in sparsely populated areas away from the hustle & bustle of city life. Hillbilly's don't give a shit what city folk think of them. Their appearance and what you think of them is not high on their priority list. They care about the outdoors, friends and family.
  • Hick: Someone who lives in the country. Hard working and prefer a quiet life out of the city. Mostly used to describe Midwestern country people.
  • Redneck: They come from rural America. They avoid urban settings. They are proud of their pick-up trucks or older cars and stick with them despite rising gas prices. Country smart and hard working.
  • Cowboy: Someone from a ranching community usually. They can rope and ride. Sometimes rodeo. Respectful, gentlemanly and hard working. Not someone who just wears boots and a hat to look cool. The word cowboy is originally a Texan word and a lot of the true cowboys come from Texas.
